Stop and shop my favorite supermarket. Just one thing I did not like, because I may have look strange to them it was obvious I w a s being watched and followed in the store. My groceries amounted to about $99. Full cart. Walking slow because I had surgery. When I got to check out suddenly I had an army of supervisors and security trying to help me.🤔 in a crowed store. Shock that I easily paid for my groceries. Then I go outside 2 police cars stationed, soon as I went to my car they left. Im upset about this. Ive shopped this store a near 30 years. Does the fact that im Black with a cart full of grocery make me a thief? Not my imagination, ive worked in security.

Friendly staff. Very good cooked food section but usually finished by 6pm. Consistently closes at 10pm 7 days a week. Prices reasonable.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted with soft music, and directly in front of you a pastry center. Very clean, they have just about everything you need. The staff are all pleasant, and there is ample parking.

Upon entering the grocery store, I was greeted by a large water fountain that was both obtrusive and an eyesore. It took up a lot of space and I had to navigate around it while also trying to avoid running into the people who were entering and leaving the store. I really wanted to get the chocolate glazed donuts, but they appeared to be stale and were hard as rocks when I tried to pick them up with the tongs. I decided to leave them there. I was filled with dismay when I looked to my right and saw an open buffet filled with meat, fish, and other dishes. It seemed irresponsible and unsanitary to have a buffet that is easily exposed to germs when we are still in the midst of a pandemic. The store was packed with items but the way they were laid out and organized made it difficult to shop with a large cart. It was overwhelming visually and it made the store feel kind of cluttered. In spite of the numerous items available, I still wasn't able to find many of the products I wanted. They had the smallest section for cat and dog food that I've ever seen in a grocery.
